Yea they arent very reliable. I've noticed Firefox has problems with them too. sometimes they show, more often they don't. Sometimes they show different sites icons..

Maybe he matched his hair to the icon.
I grew my hair out to match the hippy icon but then my hair curled.

Dunno what to tell you guys... Logos pretty much always work for me in Opera, at least lately. That wasn't always the case.
