If you notice the slow down, we are under immense load this morning from the ATI Radeon article. It is clear we need more servers in the server farm, and that will be looked after.

We are back and forums are online they were taken down as it was just too much with the load already on the server. We apologize for the outage, have a great day.

Thanks Zuni.
Now the service is almost impossible. It took about five tries with DSL to logon and several timeouts with 56K modem. There is still a routing problem from westcoast to eastcoast due to sprint net routers having bufer underruns and packets timing out. The new servers will be needed posthaste.
The idea of having a separate domain name for the forums and their own cluster would work pretty well, imho of course.

This slowdown right now is real bad ,so bad that it takes along time just to get to the threads yet alone reply if this is ATI RADEON related what`s going to happen when the review of NV20,Matrox etc,I think they are going to need another 1000000 servers, sorry to be moaning but some of us on 56k modems are really frustrated at this & I don`t want to have to go to another website forum(they are not that good)please, please get this sorted " I feel better now I have got that off my chest".
