Hello all,

I scour Anandtech every day, and when I'm done I used to go to Tom's.

But Tom's simply won't load anymore no matter what settings I use between AdBlock and NoScript. It's not worth the time even though I miss the content.

So does anyone care to offer their preferred site that:

1) They trust to provide the same quality of content as Anandtech

2) Has roughly the same span of content (Tech Articles, Product reviews, Tech news)

3) They can count on to simply load and be able to read without having to futz with every single page just to get the style to come up.

I don't really want to go through several different sites every day, but I can't expect Anandtech to work 24hr days just to satiate my needs.

I do visit many other sites when I run through the Daily Hardware Reviews but those aren't actually daily.

I'm hoping someone has an alternate that simply covers the gamut that Anandtech does and is worthy of space on their Firefox or IE links bar.

Thanks for any recommendations

Bodybuilding.com forums. They have pictures and stories of personal triumph and overcoming adversity. Very inspiring stuff.

Yes,

"We are not worthy" but we caught this PC worshiping disease in honored service sitting in the "computer club" room in a villa in Riyadh Saudi Arabia during Gulf War I. Too much virgin exposure to the likes of Xcom and Doom and Duke Nukem in between 15hr flying missions and you can guess the results.

Now after the kids are all grown I no longer maintain 6 home computers but the "upgrade bug" is as strong as ever. Hence my addiction for daily Anandtech updates, even if I can't afford them all.

Other Tech sites? Blasphemy!
AnandTech is indisputably the most important website in the world: It shelters us from the harshness of the internet, and to it we owe everything we have including our lives.

engadget.com for news/rumors pretty reliable and if its likely BS they'll say so.
extremetech has pretty decent articles.

http://www.pcstats.com/

is good. they are sort of like Drudge Report, they aggregate links from other websites.

the trick is finding out which link to click on. if you click on the wrong link, you just get a
summary of the article, right back on PC Stats.
