The main page is slow as well. Maybe try blocking dynamic1?

The mods have absolutely nothing to do with the technical operation of the forums or the main site.

True, I should have said "admins". At the very least could you make sure that the board and website admins are aware of the problem? Please don't assume they would automatically know there is a problem.

I already cleared cookies

Using firefox

If you are using Kaspersky (or Kaspersky based AVs such as ZoneAlarm, AOL AVS, or F-Secure) please see the following thread for more information about the slowdown and possible fixes / workarounds:

Kaspersky / AOL AVS causing slowdowns of certain websites

-Schadenfroh

It's not the AV for most users.

Does it without any of those products installed. dynamic2.anandtech.com is the culprit in my cases (from a west coast Qwest connection and a east coast connection using multiple computers)

Using Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0/WinXP/SP3 with zero setting changes since my last hard drive died and replaced with a new one/clean system/default settings.

I have a feeling it has nothing to do with Kaspersky!

I lost a 150gb WD Raptor about 2 weeks ago and replaced it with a new 300gb Velociraptor. Got everything going with default settings.

Everything worked great until Anandtech had a slowdown like some in this thread were stating a week or so ago. I did nothing to the settings, and later that day, Anandtech was smooth. I thought nothing of it until today.

It goes awry in the morning and loads slow again, but as I can tell, it's alright in the evening........... I've not a clue, but I know it's not Kaspersky now.

All I know is that things started going awkward when we had our last slowdown in the Forums this past week!

(At this time, I'm having ZERO slow down, but this morning with a 5mb connection, it took at least 3/4 of a minute to load a page)
