I spent $1400 on a dual G4 last August. I just sold it for $1250.

Macs will always get you a great return on your investment.

If you want to talk about money pits, let's talk about the resale value of PC hardware.

It's ALWAYS about bang for the buck. Always was, always will be. My first glance at any computer of any kind was an Amiga, because it could supposedly do video editing so cheaply. I would have purchased it, if it could have pulled off that feat. Needless to say, the PC clone ended up being the better solution at that time.
