when I first joined anandtech, I received lotsa replies when I asked for help... now I receive almost no replies at all... what's going on? (yes, i know its a stupid question)

i never used to post in OT, and mostly posted in general hardware. now i never venture out of OT, but that shift goes along with me not being so interested in computer hardware anymore. i just don't have time to tinker with computers. i need it to work, and work fast, and i'm willing to pay for it rather than buy something cheap and try to overclock it. in the old days, i was busting out the peltier cooling and 50% overclocks.

Once you get to 5,000 posts some of the good forums are unlocked.

Mainly:
http://forums.anandtech.com/categories.aspx?catid=12
http://forums.anandtech.com/categories.aspx?catid=18

At 50,000 posts it gets even better:
http://forums.anandtech.com/categories.aspx?catid=69

ooh ooh, what's in them??

Nothing. If the error says that the category doesn't exist, it doesn't exist.
