AnandTech Forums Becoming Unusably Slow?

I've only been using the forums for about a year, so I'm by no means a legacy user ... but recently the forums have been grinding to a halt during certain periods of the day. I understand that the forums are only a portion of what this site has to offer, and that there are Premium Accounts that are available for purchase that are intended to resolve this speed issue.

For those that use these Premium accounts, how is the speed?
Is the recent drop in performance due to a sheer increase in user volume, or are there other technical issue behind what's been going on lately? If it's the latter, I'd be glad to help resolve any outstanding technical hurdles.

Thanks,
Telstar

As was announced quite a few times, the forums are now bandwidth capped, so during peak usage they will not be lightning fast. If you can't live with the speed, subscribe 🙂. There are no technical issues, just two different tiers of service.

I can live with the speed most of the time but it times out so bad from 1-6pm that I don't even bother looking. Kinda sad because it used to be really fast all of the time even with hundreds logged in and thousands browsing.
