Anandtech forum and advertisement algorithm...?

I haven't noticed any advertisements on this forum but just noticed today they are able to be found at right side of this forum. It seems working with certain parsing algorithm which parses all the strings on thread and print appropriate advertisement based on parsing result, certainly I am not sure what the algorithm is! If anyone can imagine any hints about how advertisement works on Anandtech forum, mind if telling me tip of advice?
 
Ouch...same thing happens here on my monitor...

I thought there seems to be a certain algorithm due to KVM switch advertisement which was printed all the times when I clicked KVM switch threads...whatever, my mistake 😀
 
The ads on the left (on the right??? maybe you're a subscriber?) are google syndication ads. Take a look at https://www.google.com/adsense/ for information on this. You are correct that it appears the ads are geared to the topic. They are. Google will look at the page and determine the ads to be placed there.
