Ive noticed AnandTech hasnt reviewed important card:

the 7900GT? cost around 300-350

they've been concentrating on 7900GTX, X1900XT. idk about you but I dont have the money for either of those.

I'd like for them to do some benchmarks of the 7900GT up against a couple high-end cards like the 7800GTX and 7900GTX along with mid-range cards like the 7600GT. Just comparing it to the high end cards and SLI configs doesn't give me any idea how it compares to the 7600GT. Besides, who's going to get a 7900GT to play FEAR at 2048x1536 with 4x AA? I'd much rather know how it performs at 1600x1200 with 4x AA and 8\16x AF.

agreed.
But like MDE said it would be nice to be a bit more indepth with the GT's as that what most of us can actually afford.

I'd like to see a review that could show me what the gains over my 6800GT PCI-e with the 7900GT in more scenarios than just gaming.

I don't think PureVideo has changed at all with G71. So it should perform identical to 7800GTX. With that in mind I recall Nvidia releasing a driver with acceleration for HD and H.264 or something along those lines. Either way, even 6800GT is more than capable in freeing cpu cycles. I watched just about every HD video online at 720 p on P4 2.6@3.2ghz with HT and 1 gig of ram and it skipped 0 frames. Da Vinci code on 1080 ran smooth too. I have a Radeon 8500 64mb. I think with any current cpu, especially hyper-threaded or dual core any modern graphics card will be more than enough.
