If you actually read the announcement about the sale of this forum you probably realized that this forum is now owned by the same people as Tom's Hardware. So what changes can we expect?
1. End of free speech and ban threats if you say anything bad about one of their advertisers? (Check - already happened to me today)
2. End of signatures thus driving away knowledgable professionals who represent companies (Check - they already changed mine)
3. End of freedom to post links to other sites (coming soon)
What other fun changes do you expect?
1) Saying anything bad about advertisers? Come on, its your own company. You have/had your company logo as an avatar.
Multiple mods and members have been watching from your start here and you were reported by a member today for self-promotion.
2) No end of sigs - you just cannot have an excessively long, multi-colored, multiple sized font sig.
3) Now you're just making stuff up.
