Well after going through that extensive look into Overclocking the new 45nm Intel Processors I sure did learn a thing or two- and I considered myself to know most of the ins and outs of Overclocking. Particularly of interest is the throttling noticed on only one core, and the effect of Trd and how CPU VID works. Good stuff and hope to see more reviews like this in the future.

yeah, the article makes me want to get my hands on a Q9300 all the more, yet if the reports on a general delay on the new 45nm chips is accurate, there'll be a few months of waiting longer

Well you better find a motherboard that will do 600mhz FSB, the Q9300 will have a 7.5 multi so you will need well over 500mhz FSB to break 4ghz

QFT - The "new" 1600fsb chips are basically running on boards that the OC community have been pushing to this fsb and beyond already. These chips will just make it harder to OC. Now, what if we got a nice quad-core 45nm version like the current E21xx class @ 800fsb?

*Big Smile*!!!
