Anand hasn't told us if he set a date yet, but it'll be cool if he invited everyone that browses AT to his wedding. That'd be cool. Plus, imagine the sheer number of gifts he'd get?

If you're worried about # of people and cost, just have it in a football stadium or something and charge us a couple of dollars. It'd be like a giant ATOT meet as well.

I'm suprised that he even let anyone here know about him getting engaged. My impression has been that Anand is a very private person and doesn't even like the fact that people know his name let alone that he's getting married.

Priest: "If any of you among us believe these to should not be married, post now or forever hold your peace..."

Woman in crowd: "He's an nVidia/AMD junkie!"

Bride: "OMG! You told me you were unbiased! You liar!"

Anand: "I am! I swear!" [gives evil eye to two masked, dark figures standing in the corners of the room]

[dark figures disolve woman in crowd, leaving a peace of paper with a witty "banned" comment]

He is private, but I know he knows that many of those at AT care about the guy and have supported him throughout various highs and lows in the website and I know that you guys would want to hear the news. Engagements are a happy time for everyone, and I'll bet part of the reason he shared it with the world is that it made at least a few of you that much happier throughout the day. Its a joyous thing!

I can guarantee there won't be a webcast, though. Sorry to burst the bubble.

But hey, he would still like a great wedding gift - Enzo anyone??? if every member contributes at least $5 to a wedding account I will set up in my bank, I will be sure he gets the car.... trust me....

If Trista and Ryan had the biggest wedding on TV this year,

Anand and his bride should have the biggest Internet wedding ever. All the attendees would be Internet geeks that frequent this forum.

why not? I can start the fund, I am a good friend of Anand's, and I can keep the couple of bucks that it makes on interest every month until his wedding....good for everyone!

Heck...we can even get some paypal going.

And just for those of you scouring the Hot Deals forum for gift ideas, he is generally covered in housewares. I just have this funny vision of 300 spiegelau wine glasses with thousands of oneida flatware pieces showing up at his door one day. Now he just needs to learn how to cook
