analog vs digital lcd help!!!ASAP

Digital by its nature will always be a cleaner signal than analog. However, that being said, a "high quality" analog signal will also produce good picture quality. I use an Acer 19" LCD with analog input and the picture quality is excellent. Maybe a DVI would make it a little better but I think it would be hard to see any difference. I recently read an article somewhere that said basically the same thing. I would always choose digital over analog given the choice, but I would not over-weight it's importance. I've read posts in these forums where people did not see any difference when using DVI or analog input on their LCD.

I've had digital and analog portable phones and I could not hear any difference in sound quality. I also had analog cable TV and recently switched to digital satellite TV; the satellite digital picture is better, although not by a huge amount.
