Analog Vcore tweak vs. vid mod?

O/c Celeron 1.2 on GA-6VTX. No options to tweak vcore, though there is an empty /optional/ jumper and resistor magazine to set vcore. Soldered 0.25K resistor and obtained vcore 1.5 - 2.0. Though, cannot discern whether some vital signals - Vref, AGTL may also be affected?

Anyway, 1.49@1.5V, 124FSB&40PCI, 1.6@1.7V, 133FSB@33PCI. Failed at 1.49@124FSB and 31PCI. Failed at any FSB < 100MHZ. Coud there be restrictions in the CPU, the m'b, or the BIOS?

Any input from this knowlegable Forum will be appreciated.
