analog to DVI

I recently bought a samsung 171v which is an analog LCD. Would I see any benefit if I got a analog to dvi connector for it? My video card is a radeon 8500le.
 
an adapter from dvi to analog wont make any difference on your analog input flat panel. if the lcd had dvi inputs, it would be better but you are probably as good as it gets. i assume that you have used the auto-setup on the lcd and are at the native resolution (1280 x 1024).
 
hey, thanks for helping an lcd newbie. Yeah, I did the auto setup and have it at the native resolution. Are there any programs to help you tweak the screen, its a little too blue?
 
hi,
you can adjust the screen color balance in the lcd menu, but be sure to look at a range of pictures, the changes i made actually screwed up the balance in other areas and i ended up staying with the default values.
if you are using xp, some people think that using cleartype fonts helps readability.
you can enable this at display properties => appearence => effects ...
