Ihave been testing a software kvm setup and would like to know if there is anyway in particular to kow if each computer (3 of them) is putting out in digital or analog. They all have the dvi/analog output on each card but with the software kvm, there is no cable to plug into the card. The software is Kavoom and so far seems to pretty cool. Only thing I wish it could do is the audio to one set of speakers... Any input??? Thanks ahead of time.

I have no idea what you meant. If you plug your monitor into a digital out, you would be running digital; and vice versa

Yeah... what's a "software KVM"? Like PCAnywhere (or other remote desktop software)?

In such a configuration, whether the monitor output is analog or digital is determined by the PC you are viewing on. The video feed is transmitted digitally over the network.

All signals are digital. The graphic card converts it into analog for monitor support.

What are u actually to say, digital or analog??

All signals are digital, they are not analog on default.
