Analog message on ViewSonic LCD

Is there a way to get rid of the analog message (the word "ANALOG" in a blue rectangle in the middle of the screen) that shows up on my parent's LCD every time it begins displaying something, changes resolution, etc.? It's the ViewSonic VA912b. I checked the menu and didn't see any options to change it.

That indicates they are connected to the analog ports. If you substitute a DVI cable, it willthen say "Digital." It is simply telling you how it is connected.
