Analog and DVI outs

My r9500pro has an analog and dvi outs. I have been using the analog out for quite a while.
Now is there any benefits I'm gonna get or anything that I'm gonna miss if I switch to the DVI out using the DVI to analog converter? Maybe a better image quality?
I have a CRT monitor.
