He looks a little cracked out.
Indeed, or a meth head:

However the cops said he didn't appear intoxicated.

Which reminds me. I got summoned to court to testify against the guy who rear-ended my car. I thought he was high or something cuz he was really out there when I talked to him, but he didn't seem drunk and didn't smell like booze or anything like that. Also, apparently he's been charged with reckless driving, but not DUI. Not sure what to expect of this court appearance, or really, how to prepare. A friend said her husband had to do the same thing but ended up just wasting a day for nothing because the guy plead guilty.

He has a name... it's not even that hard to remember: Jake Lloyd.

I kind of feel bad for him now when I think about all the jokes and constant ridicule this guy has to endure wherever he goes that will stay with him his entire life, if this thread is any indication.

Yeah, and the $$$ that flow into his bank account from the royalties. I'm sure that sucks, too.

He was a kid nobody ever heard of when he did that movie. I'd bet he gets very little, if anything, from that movie.

Now he's an adult nobody ever heard of...

Yeah, I always thought it was unfair that the fanboys were blaming him for how bad Phantom Menance was. He was just a little kid, and that's exactly how he comes off in the movie. Not his fault Lucas can't direct actors or write coherent scripts. He took it really hard though. Last interview he did, he was a chubby neckbeard IIRC. Now he looks like the next president of the Manson Family fan club.

Should have owned it and written a book like Greg Sestero. I'm sure Lucas has had a few Wisseau level weirdness moments.

Yeah, effing fanboys. You know you can't blame him when there is a huge roster of established actors doing equally as bad. McGregor, Neeson, Portman, etc.

Who were all established actors before Episode I. Easier to brush off a stinker, and they're better equipped to deal with criticism and rejection. The entertainment industry is a cruel place. You can't seriously compare a 10 year old boy to Neeson.
