Recently put together the new PC, and enabled the Cool 'n' Quiet within the BIOS. Now at random times the PC will freeze when that is enabled. When it is disabled the PC will not freeze.

Any ideas what I can/test do to enable the Cool 'N' Quiet and the PC not freeze?

Thanks!

What BIOS version are you running? Also are you overclocking? I always just left the cool n' quiet turned off on my system.

Will have to check the bios version when I get home. But no, not OCing at all. Just thought I'd run it since by the name was suppose to kepe the PC "Cool n QUiet" LOL

But I won't do that if it Freezes the PC, either way it shouldn't be doing that though.
