AN7 Alarm Mystery

I have an Abit AN7 motherboard. The alarm keeps ringing and won't stop unless I turn off the computer. It says 2.0 in the bottom left, which is normal, I think. I'm pretty sure it always said 2.0. The only thing I have changed is the CPU cooler. It never rang before I changed the cooler. The system isn't getting to hot either. BIOS and MBM say about 40C. Any ideas?

Is there a fan connected to the CPU fan header on the MB?

I once flashed the BIOS on my Abit BH7, and then it wouldn't boot up.
After ordering another BIOS chip and some back and forth with Abit tech support, it turned out that the updated BIOS needed a fan connected to the CPU fan header in order to boot up.

I was running CPU fan from one of my molex connectors at the time. I just connected a small fan to the MB CPU fan header and BINGO... It booted right up.
