OK, so AMDZone is almost going out of business (I'm reading between the lines ;)).
I don't see that happening with this site.

I think you missed the point. Just because you don't *see* it here (and you wouldn't see it until it actually happened) doesn't mean AT didn't get a revenue cut.

*acts shocked* Only the best of the best are surviving. In my opinion anandtech is the very best hardware review site out there. Must be pretty well on others scales to be going as strong as it is it would seem to me. That doesn't mean that anand didn't have to tighten the proverbial belt, but he doesn't seem to be suffering as much as some of the other. Kyle Bennet is selling ardware (hardocp shirts, ratpadz, etc) in the hardocp forums to help keep his site well funded.

Well, I'd think that "one of the best" would be more accutare. But keep in mind that we're not talking quality here. Revenues from ads have to do with how many hits a site gets, not the quality of it's content.
