An unprecedent event took place this morning at my current place of residence.

I ate some waffles this morning for the first time ever.

They were meh. Kind of overrated if you ask me.

interestingly, in PFI, there was a discussion of what types of news stories belonged in P&N and which types of news stories belong in OT. Sorry, but the newsworthiness of what you had for breakfast drops this thread down to sub-OT level. BTW, I had a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit for the first time ever. Usually, I get the bacon, egg, and cheese muffin. Or ham, egg, and cheese. But, I didn't make a nef thread about it. The biscuit was too dry. I choked when I inhaled some crumbs while chewing. I could have died! I'll go back to the muffin next time. -DrPizza

If you don't cut waffles exactly on the little squares it ruins them.

If you bought them frozen, then some brands are terrible.
If you made them yourself, you probably undercooked them.

My advice is to go to a good diner and get their waffles.
