An odd text problem in win7

So I recently reinstalled my windows 7 and since then I've noticed this really odd text problem... The best way I can explain it is that some letters will be missing pixels. Not the screen but the actual text. Its not all of the words, and some times they are fine until I highlight them then they go goofy.. other times its the exact opposite. Any help would be great especially if it doesn't involve reinstalling everything.

What kind of monitor and graphics card do you have?

Are either of them showing up in device manager as generic plug and play devices?

Have you installed the latest drivers for either?

The GPU is a GTX 260 core 216 newest drivers. The monitor is an asus VW246H. I'm starting to lean towards it being the GPU drivers, as I'm betting I had atleast one or two drops back in terms of the driver updates and when I reinstalled windows I got the newest ones.

This may be a stupid question, but are you sure the monitor is running at its native resolution? LCDs don't like running non-native and the text problem you're seeing is one of the most prominent signs of the monitor not re-sizing properly.

Oh yeah, it's a full 1080p HD monitor so I'm sure its in the right resolution.

I'm gonna roll back my drivers and see what happens.. I'm not sure why that wasn't the first thing I thought to try. It's just the first time I've seen this.

Ok, rolling back the drivers did it.. Oh the joys of weekly driver updates from Nvidia! Stupid me should have figured it out right off the bat, but thanx for the help all.
