An odd headache

Over the last few days Ive had these headaches. It's like being hit in the side of the head with a brick. Instant pain, nothign gradual. Then it turns into a dull throb and goes away.

I've had like 30 of these in the last 3 days.

Just got back form the ER. Clutser headache. Some type of migraine. HE sent me home after some percocet and a shot of somehtign in my stomach, He gave me a prescription and a referral.

Cancer

EDIT: You should probably see a doctor. I saw a documentary on parasites, and some people had them in their brain tissue 🙁

What are you doing when the headaches start?

Well, the last one hit while I was typing this. Last night I had 3 right after I laid down to go to sleep. Doesnt seem to matter, I can be standing, sittign walking laying down or driving.

edit, there is no real "start" They happen. Thye stop. Its already gone and is just a mild throb now.

Are you getting enough sleep.

I get those sometimes when I'm not sleeping enough...i.e.: pulling an all-nighter.

Good luck with that. Please update us.

Because you care? or because this is ATOT and other people's pain/misery/misfortunes make for great fodder? 😉

Doctor, stat.

Waiting for wifey to get home. I cant drive.

Can you call a nurse line or something to get an idea of what this might be? If it's urgent, you might be better off calling an ambulance, and a nurse line should at least be able to help you identify that.

Unless this headache is the worst headache he's ever experienced, there is no reason to fall into a panic. Call your doctor at your earliest convienence.

dang, I've been having similar headaches lately, crazy stabbing pain on the side of the head that stretches towards the back of my neck ... sometimes it's so bad that I have to throw up but I think mine is more from a lack of sleep or something. Haven't had one this week! 🙂

Hope you get better.
