Well this member has about 10 stars. one negative. and this person gave me a neutral rating.

im quite bothered since i take pride on my ebay ratings and customer service.

well the complaint was that i did not send this person the right size. but this person never bothered to contact me. and i believe i sent the right size.

well if the person bothered to contact me i would have provided a full or partial refund since it seems they liked the item anyway.

i did not leave feedback for this member. i am very tempted to leave neg feedback. do you think it is justified. or should i also leave them a neutral instead.

i really it would have been great if the person would have made an attempt to contact me. do you think that is asking too much??

also, i emailed the buyer. explained my situation, respectfully. and offered a full refund. but the buyer wont return emails

I'd say that deserves a neg. Leaving a bad mark on someone without giving them a chance to fix the situation for the lose.

don't give him a negative, hes clearly not familiar with the ebay system. Just notify him that it wasn't fair that he gave you a negative and he should have let you rectify the situation next time.

He probably realized that even though the extra large magnums are too big for him, he can still casually leave a couple lying around where his girlfriend might see. imo he should have left a positive for all of the positive benefits which will follow, albeit a disappointed girlfriend.

first, you should avoid people with low ratings/experience if possible....

second, shoot him an e-mail about what's wrong......

third, leave him a neutral one too

contact the buyer and explain that if there is a problem, that proper procedure is to discuss it with the seller BEFORE leaving feedback. Then see if the buyer will retract the neutral.

leave him a neutral then do the mutual retraction thing. it's like pulling out but with even less chance of pregnancy.

WTF don't neg him. Rate him as though you didn't even know his rating for you - if his payment was quick and he emailed you quickly, and it was an easy transaction then give him a positive. Retaliatory feedback is ruining auction sites.

I'd neutral him. It would have been nice if he contacted you about the wrong size first, but he didn't really have to. He ordered a certain size and you gave him the wrong size, so the fault is still yours and he's more than justified in giving you a neutral rating.

Just give him a neutral back.

If he's not familiar with the system, he shouldn't be using it. It's a very straightforward setup, with a LOT of methods of contacting buyers/sellers, and eBay goes out of their way to provide lots of help and tips in all of their emails and on the site. If there was a problem, it could've been resolved before leaving feedback, that's why they give you such a long time to leave it.

Neg him, and respond to the neutral explaining how he/she didn't contact you about the problem
