On the food network now is the rematch of morimoto vs flay. I hate bobby flay, I hope he gets spanked :D (I know its a rerun but I've never seen this battle)

the original iron chef rules.

i didn't like the stupid americanized battles with flay and morimoto. flay was a real loser the first time, and that kid was just too annoying for words.

Flay won, but I think it was rigged since he was a whiner after loosing last time. Morimoto's food looked better. Damn I love this show :D

I have watched the show for about six years now. When I was living in Japan it was a hit show and alot better
to watch than the shows with the Flay.He cannot lose, his ego is so damm big.Wish I could meet him one day just to
to kick his pots and pans a$#........

I also watched this when I lived in Japan. Very funny stuff. Does that one Lower House Representitive ever do any worK??

Also I would like to strangle the food critic obasan.

The best part about the all Japan ones, back then, was that the person who made the MOST Japanesesque food would always win.

Like when they would have the Iron chef vs a 11th generation Kyoto-ryori head chef, you know the Kyoto dude would win. Every time.

This show does still crack me up. The best part of the Mori vs Flay 1 battle was when Flay got shocked from the cable on the floor! Hilairous!

Another funny thing was that during that show, was that my buddy, who also lived in Japan, started yelling when Flay got on the counter. He said "Oh man, the Japanese Chef is gonna get pissed about this!" and sure enough he got all hacked off. And said that Flay was not a Chef!! Hehehe, I miss that open thinking. :)

Yeah, another great episode was when the chefs had the honor of using 200 year old imperial plates, and slop'm-chop'm Morimoto (I think) said the food was more important than the @#$ plates. He announced his retirement 2 shows after that!
