An Interesting View of History

I don't know. I think there are too many dissenting organizations for this to happen in the US. Another problem I have is the stressing of "Homeland". It's not like Bush came up with the name; it's not like it's even a new concept. The gov had been talking about consolidating several agencies for years; this just kicked it into high gear.

A better comparison is Saddam to Hitler and 1935 Germany.

How many peace protesters would jump at the chance to go back in time and stop Hitler in 1935? Most.

When you wait for a nation to truly become a threat, it is too late.

How sad it is many of us cannot learn from history.
