An interesting type of fraud I've noticed on eBay recently.

So it's easier to fraud hundreds of people out of a small amount of money v.s. a large amount from a few. I bought a fidget spinner from ebay. I got a BS generated USPS tracking number that dosen't work. The spinner was about 4 bucks so I didn't care. I waited about 2 weeks or so, I questioned the seller who sent back some BS templated email about how there were issues with carrier etc and that it should be coming. Still nothing, I sent a message to him again, he then said to wait 3 days.

I can easily get my money back by filing a claim with ebay, considering there is no valid tracking etc. However, I think 70% of people probably won't care considering how small of a dollar amount we are talking. Hundreds of people bought and we are likely talking about people from China running the ebay store. So our dollar is bigger there.

Interesting.

Bought 3 spinners on eBay. At the moment FedEx has them. Should arrive Monday. 10 days in transit from PA. Did not know they moved that slow.

Bought 3 LED name tags from same vendor on Amazon. 2 arrived yesterday. 3rd coming from China. Estimated June delivery. :)

If no one complains, fraud will become even more rampant. Once upon a time our sense of civic duty would demand action regardless of the cost of the item, these days I don't know.

I buy stuff from China fairly frequently. Sometimes delivery only takes a week, but sometimes they really do mail the items and it takes forever for them to get here. I had a micro usb adapter take 6 1/2 weeks to get delivered. I had very heated messages back and forth with the seller, who could not provide a tracking number and would not send a replacement. eBay gave me a refund and the adapter arrived about 2 days later. And it was postmarked. The seller really did ship it when he said he did.

I felt pretty bad about the whole thing, but the seller was such an insulting ass when we were trying to resolve it so I just let it be and I kept the refund and I kept the product.

The biggest issue is that you guys are buying those stupid fidget spinners. Stand up to your kids and stop being sheeple.

Actually I can't help but wonder how many items I've never received from large orders. Not so much with Ebay since shipping is all individual so I only order what I need but with Amazon I tend to order a bunch of stuff at once so I can hit the free shipping threshold. Often it's stuff that's like under 10 bucks that I don't really need but good to have in stock. Misc electronic parts and stuff. Though Amazon is usually pretty good for that, I think the police it more. It's funny because months down the line the packages start to trickle in and I forget what I ordered lol. It's like Christmas.

Sureeeeeeeee you are walking with your dick in your hand....

Now while walking. Don't be silly, that's dangerous, like that chick crossing the road with her cell phone. But what about waiting in line at the DMV? You have to do something to pass the time.

its genius - sell 3 ball bearings that don't have to be qc or need to conform to any standard shoved in a piece of plastic
