When I was young I wanted a revolution and I still do, and I was a Beatles fan not because I liked what they were saying but because they were saying what I already could see. I have, since being introduced to the Bible as a child, understood that nothing good will happen if your actions, never mind your thought are for yourself first. Human life longs for the this kind of behavior from others. Nothing good will happen without feelings of magnanimity. To become magnanimous is to increase in size ones capacity for emotional empathy, I would say. That is where the real revolution has to be in my opinion. People with a capacity to love others make the world better for all.
