An interesting PDF challenge

Hello bright minds,

I have recently scanned 271 pages whose files are stored on my computer. I wish to combine it into a PDF and I have Adobe Acrobat Professional. The problem is that every page is oriented 180 degrees from the previous one. The file names goes as follows:

scan0017.jpg
scan0018.jpg
...
scan0287.jpg

What is the quickest, easiest, and most practical solution to combine all these files into a single PDF file such that all the pages are oriented the same direction?

Thanks.

Update: Problem solved. There is a convenient feature in AAP: Document > Recognize Text Using OCR. It will automatically rotate any text it recognizes as not being the right side up. So far the detection rate has been 100%.

I would first select every file that's upside down, right click on them and rotate clockwise twice. A quick way to select those files would probably be to view the files in "Tile" mode and then contract the Explorer window until the files only occupy two columns. Then you just select whichever column has the files that are upside down.

And then I would make the PDFs....not sure the best way to do that with multiple files.
