"An Interactive Site That Shows You How Much Your Taxes Will Be Lowered Under Obama's Tax Plan"

 This is nothing but BS anyway since BHO's plan doesn't seem to include renewing Bush's cuts(ie - he's going to raise everyone's taxes). Plus, McCain and BHO's "plan" according to this site  are identical.

Your Obama Tax Cut is: $2,034.40
John McCain would tax you $589.99 MORE than Barack Obama.

My numbers without any dependents. (My youngest finishes college next year)

It says I will not see a tax cut under obama (~$100k & single.) It doesn't say how much my taxes will go up though. It kind of dodges that implication. Oddly enough, people who make both more and less than me will see a tax cut under Obama.

It also said he wants to take my guns and let poor people visit my doctors office.

would this really make anyone vote for a person, if they give you more money? I'm sorry, but there are so many other items that people should worry about.

$3,526.76 ... but, then again, I don't trust ANY candidate when they start talking about tax cuts.

He still has my vote, but for completely different reasons than most Obama supporters...

Democratic Candidates Silent on Alternative Minimum Tax

WASHINGTON ? Fixing the costly alternative minimum tax may be a top priority for Democrats in Congress, but the issue has met with virtual silence from the party's leading contenders on the presidential campaign trail.

Neither Senator Obama of Illinois nor John Edwards of North Carolina make any mention of the tax in the detailed economic plans each has released recently, drawing criticism from some top policy scholars.

Hmm......

Uh, that's what drives the largest section of both major parties. The majority of democrats are poor, urban people who want the government to give them free health care, free money to live on, a new car, etc. The majority of republicans are wealthy professional polo players who want the government to tax them less and help expand their oversea business ventures by destroying and rebuilding foreign countries.

Yeah, I'm sure that's very believable. The mere fact that the Bush tax cuts will not be renewed under Obama means he's raising taxes on everyone.

Last I heard I heard the only tax rate Obama does NOT want to keep where it is now is the top rate. I'm sure he and the dems can agree that the bottom 2-3 brackets for lower and middle class folks are fine where they are...but if you make over $350,000 and are at the top 35% rate, you will go back to 39% under Obama.

The numbers are based on a group that is described by the NYTimes and Washington Post as Liberal.

The group claims to be nonpartisan though.

Interestingly if you place a real high income figure it says "you will not get an Obama tax cut" but says nothing about what McCain will do.

Sounds like a bunch of Obama supporters set up a web site to support their candidate.

wooo hoo!!! i get to keep 4,823.76 more!!!

i'll buy a beverage of choice for lemon law and eskimospy the day this occurs...

i get a feeling they'll be pretty thirsty by the time i have to pay up...
