I'd keep driving, I'm not much of a pet person.
Being a "pet person" has nothing to do with it. You mean your not a humane person. And personally I'd say the same about all of the people that have said they'd do nothing. This is whats wrong with society, yea you can argue that its just a dog - but if it sparks no feelings inside of you at all, then you have problems IMO.
To the OP, I can understand not doing something because you didn't know how to react - regretting something later shows that you have some shred of humanity. If you think you wouldn't do something thats fine, but if you didn't have some sort of emotion or look back at it afterward and have some sort of reaction then your an evil person
Are you a vegetarian or better yet, a vegan?
There is a big difference between eating animals and not having any feeling or emotion when seeing something die. I don't care what it is, it sparks some sort of feeling in normal human beings. I watch nature shows all the time, if you see chimps murdering each other like humans and then cannibalizing each other do you feel anything? Do you not hesitate for a second when you see a dieing puppy in the road? Then you have problems.
If you just drive by and you can tell its dead, thats one thing, if you can see that its not then - nevermind you and douche bag here obviously dont get it
