I'm sure people do this somewhere already, but I was thinking I should go out there at like 3:00am and make pancakes, hot coffee, tea, and chocolate, and some other stuff and sell them for a decent price while people wait in line. You think this would fly at all?

I figured there would be some sort of legal issue in doing this. So, lets assume the person doing it had a license to sell food. Then do you think people would go for it?

I think so, assuming the prices weren't abnormally high.

It is pretty cold in the northeast (hit 70 in York, PA, but is currently in the 30s and VERY WINDY) so I think the type of food being sold would also matter--probably not a good idea if you drive an ice cream truck. :D
