Begalas and Carville?

In another thread about Bushs bounce I brought up my conspiracy theory about the DNC putting a stooge out there so they can get Hillary ready in 2008. I brought up some valid points to at least make it seem remotely possible, even in the tiniest of possibilities.

I think some of them were

1. Lackluster convention with no msg
2. Vietnam vet who bashed his fellow vets when he got home
3. Liberal who leans to the left of Kennedy
4. Man who takes all sides to any issue.
5. Slow response to swift boat ads and was really poor in what little response they sent out
6. No real msg about much of anything other than "Im not Bush".

And now to top it off they bring on two guys who are what I would call problem children in Carville and Begalas(sp). Clinton brought these two guys on in 94 and the democrats got their ass handed to them. When it was Bills turn to rerun in 96 he essentially got rid of them.

Sitting back at this I honestly have to wonder if they really arent trying to sabotage their own man so they can get Hillary in 2008?

I know it is unthinkable but these guys are running a horrible compaign since the convention and this is an even worse move.

I wont even bring up the ethics issues with CNN keeping these two guys on ;) That is for a totally different thread.

No, some of your points are false. Kerry never bashed fellow vets when he came back. He was speaking generally about the US policy and some of the military leaders. Your trying to make up stuff that you heard on tv or radio, but its totally false.

I do agree that the GOP is running a slightly better campaign so far ...

I will Say that The current President and his political advisors are some of the most effective and shrewd politicians in this nations history.

So any minor Mistake that Kerry makes gets overblown.

Kerry did admit to committing war crimes.

Kerry said he heard people tell him they personally committed war crimes.

so...

Why didn't Kerry report these people so they could be prosecuted?

Why didn't Kerry name names before Congress?

He was speaking of the US policy which led to the war crimes the soldiers commited. Im no Kerry fan and I will vote for Bush, but I cant criticize Kerry at all for what he did during and after the war.

So it was a policy to commit war crimes? So no war crimes were actually committed? They just talked about doing it?

Hillary is the Antichrist. She will be elected in 2008 and her term will end in 2012, then end of the Mayan calendar. She will gather her forces of evil throughout her term to make a last stand against Christianity. Christ will return and cast Her and Her armies into the bottomless pit, while the saved ascend to Heaven with Christ and spend eternity with God.

Don't know much about Begalas. Carville, though, is a campaigning genius.

Thank you for actually responding to my post.

All I know is Clinton uses these two guys in 94 to get democrats elected into the house and senate and they apparently blew it up and failed. I think it is kind of suspect that Clinton, whose wife stands to gain by Kerrys failure, tells Kerry to bring the two guys on when they werent good enough to be part of his campaign relection in 96.

It will be interesting to see how it works itself out.

Recipe: Take RNC talking points, pose them as a "serious" question and pretend not to be trolling. Nice.

The Bible states the Antichrist is a man.

Actually I have held this position since the primaries when it became clear it was down to the middle aged A-Hole from Vermont or Kerry. This summer it has been cementing through each month.

If you dont have anything to contribute to this you are free to not respond. I am curious what democrats really have to say on this. At first even I thought it seemed rather unthinkable but when I heard these two guys came onboard it just seems possible.

If you wanted a serious answer, you would have worded it more dpilomatically.

1. Lackluster convention with no msg

That's your opinion. What message did the RNC have, 911.. 911.. 911 war on terror? oh ya, bash Kerry. did you watch the speeches and hear any of it? Or did Hannity tell you there was no message?

2. Vietnam vet who bashed his fellow vets when he got home

Bash? I suggest you read the whole transcripts and listen to his message. He wanted to bring the troops home, the war was a lost cause and history agrees.

3. Liberal who leans to the left of Kennedy

Straight from the talking points I see. That was for 2003, when he was on the campaign trail. The further analysis by the same people shows Kerry wasn't even in the top ten liberal senators.

4. Man who takes all sides to any issue.

Ya, that was serious.. I suggest you google "bush flip flop" and then come back.

5. Slow response to swift boat ads and was really poor in what little response they sent out

They attempted to not respond and not sink to that level. Do you thiink canidates should personally respond to every negative ad?

6. No real msg about much of anything other than "Im not Bush".

That's your opinion, nothing else.

This thread was flamebait and not serious by any stretch of the imagination.

I see you cant possibly answer the question. I am afraid the only thing flamebait here is your responses.

Now if you really want to talk about Carville and Begalas being brought on then do so. Otherwise all you are doing is wasting DB space and bandwidth.

I answered six of your talking points, I know counting is hard, but come on.

Was this your "question"?

Sitting back at this I honestly have to wonder if they really arent trying to sabotage their own man so they can get Hillary in 2008?

That's so lame it's not worth a response. You were trolling, nothing in your post was serious.

Never let it be said there aren't some clearheaded, rational Republicans on this board.

I know it is hard for some people to read. But the subject of the post was clearly on bringing on these two. In fact I have now asked you twice to simple bring up your opinion on the matter and you cant even do that.

If it wasnt even worth a response then by all means please dont respond. I certainly wont lose any sleep over it.

I disagree with your self proclaimed "valid points", however...

If you buy the message of an opposing party, what is any campaign doing? Assume that you are correct and think of what the RNC will come up with about Hillary. Wouldn't you be saying the same thing? Take the message of the DNC and you would have to say wtf is the Bush campaign doing?

I guess after watching the DNC I didnt think they provided much of a msg. The polls post convention seemed to agree with me. And while you disagree with my points I do believe they seem to point towards a trend. To top it off they bring on two guys who did a terrible job in 94.

Hillary in 08 is a real possibility.
