OK, I meant to be all over the forums this weekend and working on last minute "bug-fixes" for T*A*.com, but ...
My 9-month old son decided otherwise and I was MIA for most of the excitement!
Virge forwarded me some of the bugs people have found and I think the first round of bug-fixes for the FAQs are in place. Paulson has proper credit on all the pages now, and the updated stats look-up form is in place. I fixed the "What is Distributed Computing?" FAQ to be a link from the main FAQ page (like I originally intended, but somehow forgot to make the change!)
There is definitely room for additions (Linux guides are next on my to-do list) and plenty of room for improvements. So, as you guys surf through, drop me a line at JHutch@teamanandtech.com. I'll be making lots of fixes and I'll need lots of suggestions!
Also, I'd like to thank Paulson for letting us use his tutorials. I've had quite a few PM conversations with Paulson over this matter. And like I told him, I completely understand his desired to have "control" over his own creation. Unfortunately, it just wasn't possible in this case. However, it is my hope that he will continue to keep updating and improving his tutorials on his own site and that we will have a "trickle-down effect" to the team site. This will give him the chance to make lots of tweaks and changes, and then as soon as something looks like it works really well, it can be incorporated into the team site. Personally, I can see this having very positive effects on the tutorials.
Anyway, I just like to say I hope everyone likes the new team site (I know Mika, Brad and Virge have put a TON of effort into this thing). And please, drop me a line (or in the forums) if you have any ideas for fixes/improvements! We want to make this site as great as the TEAM it represents!
