An expanding mp3 player?

Ok, so I'm a bit late into the mp3 player scene, anyway I am looking towards a mp3 player that I can expand my music collection through memory cards. I figure I can add and have different cards, which also works great with my camera. I see Rio makes several that take the sd card format. Are there any others that do and are recommended?

Why do you want memory cards? You're already tied to your computer for syncing, why bother with removeable media?

Honestly, I think you'd be crazy to look at anyone other than Creative or Apple.

I like the idea of flash drives and also the expandable aspect of cards to switch out as my collection grows/changes and to increase flash storage. I'll look into Creative and Apple and compare as well.

gwlam12, thanks but due to Rio's exit from the market I don't think I would buy anything new or used by them.

Thanks everyone, I'll be checking out the links.

there are many many different companies out there with quality products that excell in their own respective ways. For SQ and features, iRiver no doubt leads the way- but you have to have the money to burn. For form factor and hi-tech sleakness, Cowon has that covered. Fashion and style definitely belongs to Apple. Creative offers the best prices by far, but at the sacrifice of really thick players. etc etc...

qualities to look for in an integrated player:
good capacity
Sound Quality
Color Screen
Integrated FM Tuner
Direct Line-in Encoding
Optical In/Out
Voice recorder
USB Mass Storage compliance with mp3s (ie whether the player is capable of generating an index file itself or not)
Battery Life (LiPolymer vs Li) + ability to replace battery
Memory Card expandability
USB Host capabilities
FM recording

so far, only the phillips hd 6330, iRiver h10, and iAudio x5 are the only three to have all the above features.
