Media Discs, Hard Drives, Floppy discs, all holding at least 1 Exabyte of information. How productive could human beings become.

Okay. How productive have humans become in the past 6 or 7 years, when harddrive space has increased 10x? Not much..

As with faster processors, it will allow programmers and developers to become even more sloppy! Can you say 100GB for an OS? 5GB for a web browser?

Sheesh, I got an MX1000 last week and the drivers alone took up more disk space then my entire hard drive I had on my PC just 14 years ago!

With high definition video and audio for sight and sound, might as well create devices for smell, taste and touch as well - then put it in high def and require that much more space
