Dear Sirs:

I have the solution for the prevention of hijackings, and at the same
time getting our airline industry back on its feet.
Since men of the Muslim religion are not allowed to look at naked
women, we should replace all of our female flight attendants with strippers.
Muslims would be afraid to get on the planes for fear of seeing a naked
woman, and of course, every businessman in this country would start flying
again in hope of seeing a naked woman.

We would have no more highjackings and the airline industry would have
record sales. Now why didn't Congress and George Bush think of this?

Sincerely,
Bill Clinton

1) muslims are not terrorists
2) terrorists are not muslims

When are people going to get that through their heads? :disgust:

No1 said anything of the sort. However, the overwhelming amount of airplane hijackers WERE muslim.

Hmm, so I guess an end to hijaking by removing Muslims from the plane isn't pointing the muslims out specifically as the hijackers? You have some great logic there...

<< the overwhelming amount of airplane hijackers WERE muslim >>

And another thing... the men on the planes were hardly Muslim. They were extremists hiding behind the veil of religion. That's like catagorizing the Mormons and Southern Baptist as the same religion

Reguardless of what your opinion is, they claimed to be Muslim, therefore they are/were Muslim.

1) No one's gonna argue with you there
2) Most (read > 50%) terrorist groups are Muslim

If we did something that stopped Muslims from doing terrorism, then we'd get rid of a full 50% of it :Q A 50% decrease of anything bad is pretty good in my book

If you want to be more credible say:

1) Most Muslims are not terrorists
2) Some terrorists are not Muslim

But if you take into consideration that 19.2% of the world's population is Muslim, you could concievablely state that there would be a related 19.2% decrease in airline ticket sales.

So, if I'm going around sleeping with everyone that I'm not married to, doing drugs, getting drunk off my ass constantly, killing people, stealing, and blowing things up, as long as I call myself a Christian, I'm going to heaven? Wow, that's neat!

rolleye.gif

Hell, even the KKK calls themselves Christians. They are not. The Taliban and whoever else call themselves Muslim. They are not. If you're going to be a Christian, you have to follow their rules. If you're going to be Muslim, you have to follow their rules. The hijackers were not Muslim, reguardless of whether they considered themselves so in their minds or not. Granted committing a crime doesn't revoke your religion, but something tells me that if you're a true member of that religion in the first place (actually believe what you preach), then you wouldn't be committing crimes like that.

Better analogy... I walk into a computer store and say that I'm a computer god when in fact I'm no better than practically all of the members here. Does that make me a computer god? In your opinion, it would. Hmm... I think I'm going to invest in starting a computer company...

The fact is that if you believe in the teachings of Christ, then you are Christian. Doesn't matter if you adhere to them or not. Now as far as I know, the Taliban ARE muslim. Just an extreme side of the religion.

But again, let's not forget, it wasn't the Taliban that flew the planes, it was al'queda (I have no clue how to spell it, don't really care either)

Ah yes ;)

I'm not the one who made that plan...it was Bill Clinton. Go take it up with him :)

Remember though, the other 80.8% would be more likely to fly if airlines advertised by saing "Now with 50 percent LESS hijackings" ;)

A dictionary doesn't define a religion or negate their requirements. The religions themselves say that you must follow the rules. There are definitions in both religions for people who say one thing and do another, and they're clearly defined as not a part of the religion.

<< The fact is that if you believe in the teachings of Christ, then you are Christian. Doesn't matter if you adhere to them or not. Now as far as I know, the Taliban ARE muslim. Just an extreme side of the religion >>

LOL - that's the funniest thing I've heard all day. Kinda makes religion all shallow and everything, now don't it. What's the point of rules if you don't have to follow them?? They weren't Muslim. Understand the religion, and you'll see that there's a difference in the people who actually follow the religion and those that bend the religion around their fundamental extremist views.
