PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire (Reuters) - A teary-eyed Hillary Clinton pushed for support on Monday as polls showed her poised for a huge New Hampshire loss to Democratic rival Barack Obama, but the former front-runner vowed to carry on with her presidential quest even if she loses..

At a campaign event in Portsmouth, Clinton choked up and grew uncharacteristically emotional when she talked about her reasons for seeking the presidency in the November election...

So much for this...
Yet whats with a woman and her tears anyways? That`s not very presidential...using tears to get out the voters....and then trying to put her own spin on her lack of composure--

"Whatever happens tomorrow, we're going on," she told the CBS "Early Show."

"I've always felt that this is going to be a very tough, hard-fought election, and I'm ready for that," added Clinton...

Is this what she will resort to doing id she was to become president...lol

Her crying pisses me off even more. I hate her 'entitled to the Presidency' attitude.

Romney should be ridiculed even more, though.. He cried like four times now.

Meh, at least she's finally showing some emotion. Even if it's not of the politically helpful kind at least it might be honest.

One of her biggest problems is how much she comes across as a phony. When she speaks it usually doesn't sound like she actually believes any of what she is saying.

Indeed. However, in this case Clinton is already tanking so she might as well try something a bit different.

I'm not buying those woof tickets. Sorry, you are going to have to try another angle on the American populous. Wait, you just did, AND IT STILL DIDN'T WORK! <chants> "Go Home Clinton!"

because, god knows... there's no chance she might have a slip up after probably 4+ months without getting a good/full night's sleep.

I was thinking about that today after waking up early to go to work and school for a new semester. I feel grouchy, headachy, and just tired all day if I don't get a long full sleep. I can't imagine how hard it is for ALL of these candidates to put in these long days of non stop smiling/handshaking/speaking and be expected never to just collapse.

Shit GW Bush spends the majority of his presidency on vacation, yet the people just trying to get his job are working day and night.

I don't know, I kind of like her, but that doesn't look too good for a "leader of the free world" candidate.

Do you really believe that? Of course, you said "It might be . . .", but to use the word honest next to this woman's name is not only a big fat lie it's horrible!

No, but putting her name and Hillary in the same thread is an insult. To Thatcher

what the fuck are you talking about? i'm not a big hillary supporter or anything, but if she were a guy, no one would make fun of him for becoming choked up when welling up with pride of being an american and overcoming HUGE amounts of adversity. just because it's hillary, you think that it was a calculated tactic and i don't think that's fair at all. why would she do that on purpose when everyone knows she'd get ridiculed for it?

Then perhaps her acting skills are improving or she's just better at fake crying than fake laughing (skip to 01:50).

She'd do it, because she knew people like you would defend her as "honest" with her emotions. EVERYTHING a Clinton does is a political maneuver and/or calculation. EVERYTHING. No doubt Bill gave her a thorough description of just how to do it too

And quit trying to throw out the victim card for Hillary here. It has nothing to do with her being a woman.

Hillary hating is extremely trendy. I hate trends. That's where all the brain dead congregate.
