I don't know whether I'm crazy or not, but I'm not really a fan of Mercedes. Give me a BMW or Porsche any day. I guess I'm just not a fan of their styling. IMO, the ass on most Mercedes is run of the mill, and their distinctive headlights just don't do it for me either. Sure, this is a hot car, but I'd rather have a 911 or a Z8 over this. Besides, the thought of wrecking a 2 million dollar car would make me drive like your average Buick owner.

The MB V-12 makes torque like a freight train. It makes a really funky sound when it comes on the pipe/resonates. The coolest thing though is the powerplant/drivetrain looks like a kitchen appliance rather than part of an automobile.

$1.5 million and reserve not met, lol.

I have read that the "red carpet" delivery from the factory is pretty amazing though. People go there with their families, it's like an amusement park where they wait on you hand and foot. Then your name appears on this electronic billboard and you get your car. It's an all day event.

You can kinda do that in Bowling Green, KY at the Corvette plant, just not a whole day thing I don't think. You get to watch it being built though.

I like how the high bidder's past auctions were for things like Fubu jeans, and now he's bidding on a 1.5 million dollar car, lmfao.

Haha! Let's get this straight:

1. A $1,550,500.00 (touches little finger to corner of mouth) car.
2. Ebay Auction
3. Vehicle sold "AS-IS" or otherwise new condition?

I'm sorry, but I'd deal directly with Mercedes if I wanted a 1.5 million dollar vehicle. They must provide at least a five year warranty or I'd buy a '67 Mustang and say fuggedaboutit. ;)

Oh man.. I'm seriously thinking about bidding on this one. I don't know if I can free up enough "extra" cash this month though. I'll have to check the old PayPal account and see if I can swing it. Maybe I'll just give my good friends JLO and Ben a call and see if they can pick it up for me. ;)

Must be nice to be super wealthy. :(

Heh.. Well.. I'm sure that the first time you drove this car, you'd most likely change your mind. This car is one of those if you have to ask how much it is, you can't afford it. I'd probably take a 911 too over this because insurance for this baby will probably cost you 2 or more 911's a year. ;)

Edit: Heh.. While I was posting this message, some guy just met the reserve at a cool $2 Million. He's only got 3 feedback's and the last purchase that he made on Ebay was for a whopping $120 for a Texas Instruments TI-89. Maybe he crunched some numbers with it and figured out how to buy this thing. If he just bid on this car for the hell of it, I sure hope he gets outbid. That would be an aweful NPB Alert that the seller would have to file. ;)

A 29 year old in Palm Beach selling a $1.5million car is probably a drug dealer.

Who cares? All that matters is if the merchandise is legit.

maybe he just bid so he could be considered a "qualified buyer" to watch the movie :D it almost looks sweet, minus the doors and a few minor features, wish my accord had a spoiler like that ;)

I'm suddenly arroused.

$2,000,000 right now and reserve is met.

Also, the seller has zero auctions in the past and WHY THE HELL SELL THIS ON EBAY?????
