Try line catching them. That's fun, and it doesn't require a big investment in equipment or time. If you strike out, try somewhere else. All you need is some line, chicken necks, and a chicken wire net you can make yourself. All under $10.

There is a state park on the west coast of Florida that we used to go to when I was a kid - couple dip nets and you'd fill up a 5 gallon bucket in no time at all. Unfortunately the Cubans and Haitians discovered the park and voila, just about all edible wildlife gone. Have not been back in at least 15 years now.

crab - I don't like the thought of eating insect brain guts.

I got conned into eating lobster and shrimp sea insects when I was younger. You could imagine my horror when I got old enough to notice shrimp swimming in a tank with their numerous legs and long whiskers at the front of a restaurant. W T F mom and dad?!

I actually liked durian, once my nostrils shut down. Didn't really go for natto though.
Hell yeah! Will get to eat the fresh stuff soon :)

Lobsters - and i mean exclusively Maine lobsters, the rest are just faeces-eating overgrown insects - are godly. But sadly, the Alaskan King Crab is in fact better tasting than Lobster.

and *way* more expensive.

Depending on location, Maine Lobster meat and Alaskan King Crab meat are usually the same price.

I think the going rate is around $45-50/lb for just pure meat retail.

The world's most obvious troll. At a grand total of 2 posts, EaterOfCabbage claims he won't eat broccoli... which *is* cabbage.
I rather enjoyed his post.

Given the level of trolling that we get normally a bit of username/post content synergy was quite refreshing.

Wait. How do you like potato salad but not mayo?

There has to be enough bacon or mustard to hide the mayo taste. Also, since I do not build potato salad, I generally do my best to not know the ingredients, since knowing the ingredients might make me dislike the idea of it.
