An artifact of overclocking?

Setup:

Asus P5B-Deluxe Board
E6600
Corsair XMS2 PC-6400 C4 memory.

Bios:

Multiplier = 8
FSB = 405
DDR2 = 805 (1:1 Ratio)
Vcore = 1.45 (Droops to 1.4)
Vdimm = 2.1

With this setup, it's very stable (well, it appears to be). Orthos & Prime95 can run for hours. I can also play Quake4 just fine, but have one small problem with it. It happens when I try to disconnect from a server. When I do this, it just hangs. Sometimes for a second or two, but sometimes for minutes. This system isn't locked up because I can Ctrl-Alt-Del to get out.

This "disconnect" issue does not happen at all at stock speeds, only when overclocking. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

Well, I think it might be due to the fact that my PCI-E Link Width is changing from x16 to x1 when overclocking! Interesting ...
