Good read, though I found it interesting that everyone believs that Khadafy's change of heart was sudden. Sure, the Iraqi confict solidified Libyan points of view, but It took him since the eighties to turn around. This has been long in the making.
I still believe Libya was playing both sides of the coin, just not wanting to become irrelevant should he have to make a solid decision for one side or the other. Now the balance of power in the Middle East has drastically shifted towards the west, and Khadafy has made his choice. He must now go one hundred percent, or his former allies will see it as weakness, rather than strength, and his fight will have been for naught.
The entire Middle East could apply the "Mexican Crab Story", to itself, and maybe see how counterproductive they have become, and maybe make it out of the dark ages.
