An appeal to sensibility [POLL]

I just learned that Elledan was permanently banned. And while I did not see eye-to-eye with him, his contributions to the forum were worthwhile and certainly no worse than the a good number of the denizens on ATOT.

Please don't see this as me being a revisionist of threads of yore. I'm not seeing him through rose tinted glasses, I feel that a permanent ban seems a bit undue. A vacation, maybe. But his presence, I think, is missed. The voice logic, albeit Borg logic, is absent from contentious threads that are so pervasive on ATOT.

Anyways, cast your votes. I'm curious to know what peoples thoughts are on Elledan's absence.

Note to Mods: If this is a touchy subject, I understand why it might get locked.

I feel somewhat bad about this, because i kind of egged him on in the thread that he was banned for. HOWEVER, he is responsible for his own actions. we don't know what really happened here. the mods say they banned him temporarily. he must of really blasted the mods for that in order for them to change it to a permanent ban. that's really between him and them.

Don't feel bad. I think the vacation started there but the permanent ban came from somewhere else.

This is true. We don't necessarily know the whole story. That's why I'm more curious about what other forums members think.
