An annoying friend asked me for movie recommendation...

last night, I told her to watch The Island, she liked it. tonight, she kept bugging me to recommend another good movie for her.

I recommended her to watch brokeback mountain. she asked me what kind of movie it was, so I told her "romance."

17 minutes into the movie, she realized it was about 2 gay men. :laugh:

From the clips it looked like a generally crap film (IMO), and I saw a clip of the part with the wife/husband and how he didn't really go fishing.
Maybe she didn't like the style of romantic film, or the setting, or any number of other aspects.

But no, she has to be a homophobe. Well, true if she stopped because it was about gays, and not because it just looked like a style of film that didn't appeal to her.
