An AMD 1.2G/266 processor will work with DIMM? Right?

Yes, you can, but this assumes that you understand there are both boards which take DDR ram, and boards that take SDRAM. ;)

Yes I understand that. I was thinking of buying the Epox8KTA3 mobo which supported DIMM mem. Just wanted to make sure i wasn't missing anything, and ordered the wrong mobo.

Just remember both SDRAM and DDR SDRAM modules are both DIMMs.

The term means Dual Inline Memory Module, and both Regular Clocked SDRAM and DDR SDRAM come in that form. The SDRAM is 168pin the DDR is 184.

And yes any athlon will work with either, just make sure you have the right board.
