An advice for all of you...

Don't make friends at work. Especially if you work in the corporate environment. Ends up biting you in the ass.

Just wanted to clarify one thing: Friends at work don't necesserely bite you in the ass. If they do then you're probably working at the wrong place The whole idea of making friends at work, though, does!

I'll refrain from giving a long response until you post some actual details so we can see why you're saying that. I've made many friends at work, and still speak to them on a regular basis. Now if you meant don't pick up a girlfriend from work, that's much different.

Well, just found out that this person who I considered to be a friend is actually talking crap behind my back. And most of the stuff she is saying isn't even true. And even if it were true, a friend would tell you first, before going on behind your back. And to make things even worse when you run into that person in the hallway they act as if you are their best friend in the whole world!

P.S. I know everybody will tell me that I should confront this person. Well, I did talk to her recently, asking if everything is ok between us, because I was picking up a strange vibe. And she said yes, and she even got insulted by the idea of me asking that question...
