Overall I'm a little disappointed, though I am not even all the way through yet.
I feel as if the production is a little muddied. It seems like I can barely hear the drums and a lot of the instruments just seem to blend together. There is a lack of crispness and even when the intensity of a song picks up it doesn't punch you in the gut like on their previous albums.
I don't really think it is the songwriting, but what do you guys think?
