Amptron M817LMR won't recognize ATI AIW 128 video

I suspect this is related to the ALi MagiK chipset used by this board. I recall that IWill's ALi board had similar problems which could be solved with a BIOS update and fiddling with the drive and delay levels for AGP in the BIOS. Does anyone know anything about this? Amptron's website is a farce and has no info.
